Just like with anything, you'll need an instruction manual to know how to design and build things! Blueprints can be discovered in the galaxy by completing unique missions and getting lucky in your explorations of the far reaches of space. Any commercially minded explorer could also list the extra blueprints they find on the Space Tokens Marketplace for others to acquire. Once you've decided on a blueprint design, you'll have to get back out there and secure all of the materials required to complete the build.
Blueprints will allow you to build all sorts of interesting items in game. You'll be able to craft numerous different items, from mines and general infrastructure on your land to Spaceship upgrades and tools! You'll discover blueprints for more efficient mines, infrastructure and buildings, land beautifiers to buff up your land stats, wearables for your Space Dude and more!

To collect minerals — the base components of most materials and components — you'll have to dig into the ground to excavate them. This can be done by launching mining operations on your land. Funding a mining operation will yield different amounts and types of minerals based upon the type of land, and the mineral grade of the area.
