Discover Unique Planets

During early development, we introduced 3 easy steps to planet discovery:

  1. Launch your expeditions with ADA

  2. Traverse the galaxy in search of planet NFTs, and

  3. Bring them back to your Cardano wallet.

Now, you can “ooooh” and “ahhhhh” at your planets or put them to good use with Land, Mineral, and Creature discoveries — but we'll get to that.

First, the expeditions! Each Space Tokens exploration begins when you choose a Class of Planet to discover. Each planet is unique and it's a surprise what type of planet you’ll find within each class! There are currently 26 different types of planets to be discovered divided up into 4 classes.

  • Class 1 : Common — there are 10,000 to be discovered in Galaxy 1

  • Class 2 : Rare — there are 7,500 in Galaxy 1

  • Class 3 : Exotic — there are 5,000 to be found in Galaxy 1

  • Class 4 : Valuable — there are only 2,500 in Galaxy 1 (SOLD OUT)

How Many Variations Are There?

We worked really hard to ensure that each and every planet was actually unique by tweaking the builder logic and testing the planet generation prior to launch. Each planet has a different builder script and set of randomization characteristics which make the types very different from each other. The main variations used are layer inclusion/exclusion, colour, rotation, orientation, and random overlays. This particular feature may be updated throughout planet discovery to ensure that planets maintain enough differentiation. 🪐
